This is a great article and all the described steps are relevant to a team. However, one that really caught my eye is stay connected. I believe if you are aware of the individuaties from your crew it is a valuable way to keep everybody together and evolve them.

In my point of view the nine points is pretty important, however I ‘d like highligh two of them:
-Clearly Communicate Goals and Processes: there should be comunication among the team mainly from the leader, the team needs to know where they are and where they must arrive and the most important how the arrive, know the goals, so they are feel more confortable and encourage.
-Stay connected: the leader should know your team, individually each person, know theirs features, and be close of the people.

In my book all tips are important, but the idea that I liked was “acknowledge your own mistakes”. It’s essential for a leader because in any culture leaders don’t do this. They prefer straight ahead even they made mistakes.

Absolutely! I agree that being dependable is key.

You don’t have to apologize for the mistakes!! This is a learning platform and it’s perfectly fine to make mistakes. Remember that mistakes are inherent to any learning process and it is not different with English. 🙂

And you’ve just made 1:
– a leadership who is honest (not “been”)

Thanks for this article. For me, the most important step is the number 7: “Be dependable”. The team works better when they have a leadership who been honest and who works with respect and dedication. (Sorry for my mistakes here, but I’m trying to be better) .
